Philosophy – Documentary Wedding Photographer

I’m going to let you in on a little secret – while I believe Wedding Photography is endlessly important, I can’t honestly tell you that I think it’s the most important.

These are probably the last words you expected to hear from a Perth Wedding Photographer, but keep reading! Hear me out!

My Approach – Documentary Wedding Photography

Weddings are epic days, no matter how big or small, no matter the location, the flowers or the catering. This is the day when you and your love will commit to each other for the rest of your lives, through all your quirks, your strengths and your weaknesses. And in the end, this is the heart of it. The most important thing isn’t photography – it’s the two of you, the commitment you’re making and the way you get to experience it all.

Your wedding will be a momentous day for the two of you, and purely for this reason, it’s a day that deserves to be documented and photographed beautifully. That’s where I come in!

I want to tell the story of your wedding day – the tender touches and romantic gestures, the details you’ve chosen with intention and care, the laughter and tears of you, your love and all of the people you’ve chosen to celebrate with you.

I approach each and every wedding with a relaxed demeanour and always make sure you’re feeling your best, because one of the easiest ways to get great photos is to make sure you’re having an epic time. I want you to look back at your photos and be filled with nostalgia and a heady joy at remembering those moments – moments when you were the happiest you’ve ever been.

So if that sounds like the kind of wedding day you’d like, then get in touch! I’d love to hear more about you and your story, and help create beautiful memories for you to look back on.
